Foundation and Concrete Structure Repair with AnchorPoint Concrete

We offer full service professional repair and waterproofing systems to all forms of concrete, mortar and stone foundations old or new.

Concrete problems usually start with water and movement: soil that settles or washes out under a slab, frost heave, tree roots, or freeze-thaw cycles and de-icing salts that break up the surface. The result is cracks, sunken or tilted sections, trip hazards and flaking.

How it works

From first call to finished job

  1. Step 1

    Share your project

Driveway, patio, slab or repair: tell us the rough size, the finish you have in mind and your address. Photos of the area help.

  2. Step 2

    Measure and plan

The area is measured and checked for slope, drainage, access for the concrete truck and any old concrete that has to come out.

  3. Step 3

    A clear quote

You get a quote that spells out the size, thickness, base, reinforcement, finish and removal of old concrete, so you know what's included.

  4. Step 4

    Prep, pour and cure

The ground is excavated, the base compacted and the forms set, then the concrete is poured, finished and jointed. You'll know how long to wait before walking or driving on it.

What's included

Foundation and Concrete Structure Repair: what we handle

  • Crack repair: Cracks cleaned out and filled with flexible sealant to keep water and weeds out.
  • Spalling and flaking: Surface damage from salt and freeze-thaw repaired or resurfaced where the concrete underneath is sound.
  • Sunken sections: Settled slabs by garages, steps and walkways assessed for lifting or replacement.
  • Section replacement: Broken or heaved sections saw-cut and replaced instead of tearing out the whole slab.
  • Steps and edges: Chipped edges, broken step noses and crumbling corners rebuilt.
  • Repair or replace: When damage is widespread, a full replacement often costs less over time than repeated repairs.

What clients say

5.0

“Just wanted to say what a beautiful job you did for us on our patio and front entrance. It is such a pleasure to see someone that really cares and takes such good care of his customers.”

Bob & Marilyn Mahler

“Just a note to say thank you for your work repairing the crack in our basement. I had no idea how much effort it would be to dig out the foundation, prepare the surface, fill the crack, waterproof the side of the foundation and restore the ground to the original condition. You were very thoughtful in keeping us informed of the steps you would be taking and well organized in implementing your plan. The quality of your workmanship was outstanding. I have great confidence in what you did and even though it is below ground level, I know that it was done correctly and the repair will last.”

Gary and Sue

“The driveway and sidewalks look terrific. Thanks so much for your hard work.”

Pat Gulledge, Boise

FAQ

Foundation and Concrete Structure Repair: common questions

Should I repair or replace my concrete?

Repair makes sense when the slab is mostly sound: hairline or narrow cracks, small chipped areas or light surface flaking. Replacement is usually the better answer for wide or shifting cracks, sections that have sunk or heaved, crumbling concrete, or damage across most of the slab.

Why does my concrete keep cracking?

Ongoing cracking usually points to what's underneath: soil that was never compacted, water washing out the fill under the slab, or roots and frost moving it. Fixing the drainage, like a downspout emptying beside the slab, often matters as much as fixing the crack.

Can resurfacing fix my old concrete?

Resurfacing puts a thin new layer over existing concrete. It works well on surfaces that are worn, stained or lightly flaked but structurally sound. It won't hold on concrete that is sinking, heaving or broken, because the cracks come back through.
